Juror: Dr. Dixie Webb, professor of art, Austin Peay State University Dr. Webb received her Ph.D. in art history from the University of Kansas and has taught art history courses at Austin Peay since 1992. She served as dean of the College of Arts and Letters from 2008 to 2018. Past jurors have included distinguished artists and Austin Peay State University professors and professors emeriti, Max Hochstetler, Dr. Jim Diehr, Bettye Holte, Billy Renkl, and Susan Bryant
The exhibit for September is open to all members to exhibit a piece of their work to display along with a Friend of theirs. The Friend of each member selected will be able to submit an artwork to display with their DAC member.

Specializing in handmade papers and mosaics, local artist Peggy Bonnington brings her whimsical studies of color and shape to the Museum. Peggy is Co-Founder & Volunteer Artist Teacher at Arts for Hearts and is a member of the Downtown Artists Co-op. The exhibit will include both 2D and 3D pieces.

“Steampunk: Jewels from the Retro-Future”
HUDUBAM will be hosting Clarksville Jewelry Designer Jennifer Ingalls, throughout the month of August 2019. Mx Ingalls has been designing and creating jewelry professionally for over 25 years and is best known for her steampunk aesthetic, love for texture, and her fascination with small objects.
The show opens on Thursday, August 1st, 5pm-8pm, as part of the
Clarksville Art Walk and will be up through August 31st.
The artist will also be giving a talk on Steampunk and her involvement in the larger Steampunk community. "HUDUBAM Art Talk: Steampunk, My Life in the Retro-Future" August 17th, 2019 from 5-6pm.

I'm so excited to announce I'm coming back to DBO Galleries in Nashville for the August Art Crawl!! This time I'm bringing an amazing artist and friend, Camille Besser, with me. Camille is a writer, as well as, a mixed media artist. Camille uses written word to influence her pieces....sometimes literally....is it too early for puns. 😂

SEPTEMBER: DAC & Friends
The exhibit for September is open to all members to exhibit a piece of their work, hopefully new work, to display along with a Friend of theirs. The Friend each member selects will be able to submit an artwork to display with their DAC member. Their is no age requirement for the Friend they choose.
owever, the work submitted by the DACster and the Friend should follow the same rules for submitting art work for any show in the gallery. The work must be framed with a hang-ready wire, be clean and presentable and have the identifying information for the artists.
If you and a Friend would like to participate in this exhibit, please send your info to either Daryle or Daniela or stop by DAC and sign up on the clipboard at the front desk. All art work for this exhibit should be submitted by noon on August 31st in the appropriate place in the back room. Please tag each work with artist name, media, title and price.
