He is doing so well in his internship position at the Downtown Artist Coop that the board voted to not only bring him on as a member but to also to elect him to Vice President! DAC is now open on Tuesdays 12 til 4pm. The DAC Hours are Tuesdays - Fridays 12:00 til 4:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am til 5:00pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays. We also have a new "Window Committee" stop by and check out our beautiful windows. The committee did a fantastic job on this months window.
The Hopkinsville Art Guild's 46th Pennyroyal Juried Art Exhibition 2016 is coming up soon in the Auditorium Gallery on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College, 720 North Drive, Hopkinsville, KY.
The opening reception and awards ceremony is on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 2:00 - 3:30 PM. The entry deadline is noon on October 1st.

Juror Elsa Bekkala is of Sami-Finnish descent and was born on a farm in Keweenaw Bay in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a doctoral degree from Columbia University in Studio/Art Education.
