Paper Basket Workshop
Monday, Oct. 16th

$30 per participant
Participants will create a unique one of a kind paper basket using heavy watercolor paper and acrylic paint. We will paint our papers on both sides, cut it with a pasta cutter, then use a tissue box as a form to weave over. The baskets are finished by lashing finishing strips around the top with waxed linen thread and sealing it with an acrylic medium. Everyone will have enough paper for more than one basket.

Art IT is a workshop meant for artists to improve their business by promoting it online, creating their own website from scratch and connect a domain to a platform of their choice where they'll be uploading photographs, videos and other media representing their work.
Also, advice on SEO settings for their websites and social media will be provided during this workshop to ensure continuity and consistency of all endeavors.
It is important for each attendee to bring their own laptop, iPad, tablet or smartphone in order to better comprehend what it will be discussed during this workshop.
You will learn how to upload your art online, on your website/blog and social media and promoting it using SEO settings.
In order to succeed, it has become imperative in spreading the word about your work, motivation and raising awareness about your role as an artist in your community and beyond.
This workshop will only cover the basics of what you need to know about promoting your work online and it is not an advanced workshop about how to specialize in the field of online advertising.
